Scoop 'N' Stack
The Melissa & Doug Ice Cream Set features an abundance of nostalgic ice cream parlor charm, starting with its sturdy red-and-white, striped storage container. The set includes four realistic molded plastic ice cream scoops in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and mint chocolate chip "flavors." Two wooden cones and two plastic scoopers with painted wooden handles round out the set.

The scoopers, cones, and four ice cream scoops are all magnetic, so the scoopers can actually pick up the ice cream scoops and place them on the cones. They easily release by pressing the lever, like a real ice cream scooper. Magnets in the cones keep the scoops in place, even with a quadruple-dipped cone. (All magnets are located on the interior of the pieces, so there's no danger of the magnets breaking off and posing a serious risk to small children.)

Almost Good Enough to Eat
This set carries realistic, authentic touches, from the classic ice cream scoopers to the waffle design on the wooden cones. The cones look so good that our child tester almost fooled an adult into thinking her cone was real.

Love it!!!
My daughter (3 years old) got this for her birthday. It was a big hit! All the kids loved playing with it. Even some of the parents were trying it out.

The cones are made of wood--so they're heavy and if you drop it on your toes, watch out! But the ice cream itself is a lightweight, very durable plastic.

I would highly recommend this product to any kids. I'm thinking of purchasing a second set just for when friends come over, that way they can each have a cone!

One thing I would like to recommend to the Melissa and Doug company, is for them to come out with a "Ice cream parlour 2" set. Maybe some more ice cream scoop flavors (orange sherbet, berry swirl, etc) or just extra cones. Even just a set of extra ice cream would be nice. Overall, it's a great set. Very good quality, as is all the Melissa & Doug toys we've bought. Your kids will love it!

Great fun for a variety of ages
We saw this product at a conference and the kids all loved it. We got it for my 4 y.o. birthday and everyone always plays with it when they come over. Even my 14 y.o. has been known to make a cone or two.

everyone loves ice cream!!
i bought this as a two-part gift for my 2yo niece -- she, as well as the other kids at the birthday party -- loved it. they're super cute and durable, seeing as how they're made out of wood and hard plastic. the really cute part was that they have light magnetic circles that help keep them on top of the wood cone foundation. i'm definitely a lover of melissa and doug products, and this one is truly a great one. if your kid loves ice cream, cooking, or playing in a little kitchen, i'd recommend this in a heartbeat.
