Editorial Reviews
Editorial Review
Almost a century old, Flinch is the seemingly simple but surprisingly difficult card game in which players attempt to discard from their stockpiles of 10 cards by playing them in numerical sequence (when possible). Sure, it sounds like a round of this could be over in minutes, but it never turns out that way. The original, handsome design of the cards is still intact, but the makers of the game have come up with some additional contests for modern folk, including Flinch 2000, with wild cards. There's also a solitaire version and one just for kids. --Tom Keogh
From the Manufacturer
A perennial favorite since 1903. The original and still best stockpile card game.

Great multi-generational game
I grew up playing Flinch with my mother and grandmother. They were absolutely ruthless, and I loved every minute. They also used the cards to play another game called "Donkey". I have been looking for this game for years because we wore out several sets of cards. No one had ever heard of it. I'm glad it is back in print. Now I know what to get Mom for Christmas!
A great game for all ages!
I played this game with my cousins and my grandmother when we were little, but I've never known anyone else who played or who had a set. Even 20 years later, we are likely to get it out & play when visiting, and now that 2 of her great-grandchildren are old enough to play we are all remembering how much fun it is! I've been searching for a deck to have at home for my son - I think I'll order more as Christmas presents for the family. It can go slowly with a new (or young) player, but the more you play the faster you play, and it gets very exciting. Fun and interesting for even a 7-year-old, but the pace changes with the skill level of the players. You can have a furious contest or a quiet game with conversation...very versatile. I love this game!
Fabulously Fun!
I was delighted to discover that this game is still in print! My twin brother and I used to play this game with our grandparents in the 1950s, and always ended up screaming with laughter! It is as much fun now as it was then!
